Recipes – Juicing

Juicing is a creative, convenient and refreshing way to reach your daily veggie quota in a flash. You may associate juicing exclusively with fruits, but the trick is to combine plenty of nutrient-packed ingredients alongside a sweet pop of fruit to mask any less-than-delicious flavours. What’s more, you can tailor your juice according to your specific needs, here’s how…


(Note: To make any of these a taller

drink, blend in some 100% pure coconut water)

  • Detox & Purify

Juice ½ lemon, 2 cooked beetroots, 1 large handful of spinach, 1 scoop of Spirulina, ½ tsp ground turmeric, 2 green apples, 4 sticks of celery and a handful of chopped pineapple.


  • Feed Your Skin

Juice 1 large handful of watercress, 2 green apples, 1 handful of blueberries, 1 scoop of Chia seeds, 1 tbsp ground almonds, 1 tbsp Aloe Vera juice and a handful of cherry tomatoes.

  • Energiser

Juice 2 cooked beetroots, 1 handful of spinach, 2 green apples, 2 carrots, 1 orange, 1 scoop of Spirulina, 1 tsp ground cinnamon and 1 cup of coconut water


  • Up your defences

Juice ½ lemon, 1 handful of blueberries, ½ tsp ground turmeric, 6 radishes, 1 handful of spinach, 2 pears (with skin)


  • Pre work-out

Juice ½ lemon, 3 cooked beetroots, 1 large handful of watercress, 1 slightly under-ripe banana and a handful of blackberries, and add a cup of coconut water


  • Digestive Soother

Juice ½ lemon, 1 slightly under-ripe banana, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, 1 tbsp Aloe Vera juice, ½ inch of grated ginger root, 1 green apple, 2 carrots and ½ tsp of Manuka honey (+10 UMF or above). Combine with coconut water or cooled peppermint tea.


  • Hangover Juice

Juice 1 whole lemon, 2 pears, 1 handful of kale, 1 handful of spinach, 1 handful of berries, ½ cucumber and 1 scoop of Chlorella.


  • Metabolism ‘Revver’

Juice ½ lemon, ½ tsp cayenne pepper, 1 tsp chia seeds, 1 handful of blueberries, 1 green apple and 1 handful of rocket mixed with a cup of coconut water

  • Night time Soother

Juice 1 slightly under-ripe banana, 1 handful of cherries, 2 tbsp of live natural yoghurt and ½ tsp of cinnamon with a cup of coconut water or cooled camomile/nettle/ peppermint/ lavender tea.
