Day 220 – 224 – New Personal Best

It feels as though that all I have done for the last few weeks is whine on about my hip and struggle to maintain pace with my training schedule. Sometimes I forget just how far I have come in such a short period of time and that my body is not used to the stress and pressure that I am putting on it. Leading up to my planned 12 miler I made sure that I focused on non-load baring exercise in order to reduce the risk of injuring myself further. By the time Saturday came, I was faced with my furthest run yet which was 50% longer than my previous, my hip was still not 100% but I was determined to try it out.
